PGEone ("the app", "we", "us") is a community marketplace app for residents of Pacific Golf Estate, Dehradun, that lets you browse nearby stores and order food, groceries and local services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using PGEone you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect financial account numbers. Payments, when made online, are handled by the payment provider on their own secure page; we do not store your card or UPI credentials.

2. How we use your information

• Provide and operate the marketplace: accounts, browsing, ordering and delivery.
• Show nearby stores and services using your location.
• Send order status and community notifications you have opted into.
• Provide customer support and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Stores and delivery partners receive the order and delivery details required to fulfil your order.
• Payment provider processes online payments on its own secure page.
• Service providers that host or maintain the app, acting on our instructions.
• Where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your location or personal data for third-party advertising.

4. Location permission

Location is used only while you are actively using the app to power the "near me" feature. The app does not track your location in the background. You can grant or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; some features may be limited without it.

5. Data retention

We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and passwords are stored using a one-way hash. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access, correct or update your account details in the app.
• Request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
• Control location and notification permissions from your device settings.

8. Children

PGEone is intended for adults (18+) in the Pacific Golf Estate community and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
